This piece was inspired by an extra credit assignment from my sophomore year Latin class, in which we were instructed to find examples of ancient art depicting Hercules going about his labors. I decided I wanted to recreate such a piece of art.

Tableau Depicting Hercules, wearing the pelt of the Nemean Lion, cutting the heads of the Lernean Hydra.
The Tableaus and patterns are based off real vases from antiquity.
"Characteristic of a Teapot"
